    Flight operations of Frontier Airlines are managed at Terminal E of Dallas-Fort Worth Airport. This terminal features the check-in counters, baggage claim carousels, and additional facilities for arrivals and departures. The Frontier Airlines DFW Terminal, through its three-level layout, offers numerous information kiosks, SmarteCartes, and assistive facilities. Presently, some international flights of Frontier use Terminal D’s boarding gates.

    What Terminal is Frontier at DFW?

    Terminal E of Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport houses the facilities of Frontier Airlines. Although the airlines’ primary functions are handled at this terminal, some international flights are operated at Terminal D. There are three major levels of Frontier Airlines' DFW Terminal.

    • Level 1: The lower level has transportation facilities and pickup/drop-off spots.

    • Level 2: This level houses all check-in counters, baggage carousels, along with shopping and dining outlets.

    • Level 3: Skylink connection to Terminal D and other terminals is available.

    Note: For international Frontier flights, the boarding gates are located at Level 3 of Terminal D.

    At the Dallas-Fort Worth Airport, Frontier flights arrive through Terminal E and D. Domestic flights and procedures are at Terminal E.

    • For International Arrivals, the CBP as well as baggage claim area is at Level 1 of Terminal D. 

    • Baggage claim for domestic Frontier flights is at Level 2 of DFW Terminal E, specific carousel can be found with the help of the display screens. 

    • After reclaiming baggage, the DFW Frontier Terminal ground transportation can be accessed from the lower level.

    Frontier DFW Airport Departures 

    Frontier Airlines departs from Terminals E and D of DFW Airport. However, all check-in and bag check procedures are completed solely at Level 2 of Terminal E.

    • Use the Frontier Airlines’ Self Check-in kiosks and counter near Door E35 at the airport, or check in online.

    • Go through the E33 and E18 security checkpoints at the Frontier Dallas Terminal, which also have TSA PreCheck and CLEAR facilities.

    • Head to the boarding gate area within 45 minutes of flight departures. Generally, Gates E18-E21 are used in Terminal E.

    Note: For the flight departing through Terminal D, transfer via the Skylink after completing all procedures.

    Frontier Airlines serves both domestic and international destinations via Terminal E and D, respectively. Numerous facilities are offered at the Frontier DFW Terminal, ranging from parking to shopping and dining outlets.
