Dallas Fort Worth International (DFW) Airport Terminal E: Structure and Facilities

The Dallas-Fort Worth Airport has Terminal E with an additional satellite building. The DFW Terminal E is a four-level building with 43 gates. Facilities for dining, shopping, ATMs, and lounges are available at the terminal. The terminal also houses the Lost and Found Office at Level 2. Skylink, as well as a tunnel facility, is available to connect the terminal with other parts of the airport.

Structure of DFW Terminal E

Terminal E of Dallas-Fort Worth Airport has multiple levels and gates to handle the various operations in the premises.

Levels

Terminal E has 4 levels, with Level -1 having a tunnel to connect Terminal E and its satellite building.

• Level 1- This is the lower level, which has ground transportation, curbside check-in facility, bag drop, and SmarteCartes.

• Level 2- The departure level with check-in counters, baggage claim area, boarding gates, and information kiosks. 

• Level 3- This is the Skylink train level, which connects Terminal E with the rest of the terminals.

Boarding Gates

The Dallas Airport Terminal E has a total of 41 gates. These gates are located at both the main terminal E building and the satellite building.

• Gates E20-E30 are located in the Terminal E Satellite building.

• Gates E2-E21, E31-E38 are in the main building.
